COVID-19 Policy/Procedures – CLOSURE Update

Dear Patient,

As the COVID-19 (AKA Coronavirus) pandemic has evolved over the past few weeks, we have done all we to support the health and safety of both our patients and staff. To stay true to that, we have made the difficult decision to follow the CDC and California Optometric Association guidelines to temporarily close our practice for routine eye care beginning Saturday, March 21. Be assured that neither my team, nor I, or any of our patients have had any known exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

We plan to re-open our practice on Wednesday, April 1 but we will reassess the circumstances as we get closer. Please check your email for updates, as well as our website at ce-optometry.com, or leave us a phone message.

If you have an appointment scheduled during this time, we will be reaching out to you to help you reschedule for a future date. If you have glasses or contact lenses you urgently need to pick up prior to our re-opening, please contact our office to make arrangements. We are offering to ship your materials at no charge after communicating so with our office. If you need to order contact lenses, visit our website at www.ce-optometry.com to order online with free shipping with a minimum order of 2 boxes. Should you have an urgent eye care issue, feel free to call us. We will be checking our messages. We have also partnered with Dr. Arthur Astorino at 1525 Superior Ave. at 949-645-2250.

We will have some hours during that time when we will be answering phone calls and seeing patients for medical eye emergency appointments only. We will be available to answer phones from 10 am-4:30 pm on:

Monday, March 23
Wednesday, March 25
Friday, March 27
Tuesday, March 31

We will continue to monitor any changes with guidelines issued by the CDC and/or local, state, and national public health authorities.

Thank you for being a valued patient of Custom Eyes Optometry and for your continued support. Your health and safety is our priority.

Sincerely, Michael Bourgoin, OD and Jean Yoo-Bourgoin
